User pages

We encourage every account holder to create a user page. Crafting a user page helps broadcast your work, what you are interested in, what is in your queue and who you are. You may want to list out:

1. Links to the stories that you have contributed to, either as primary or secondary
2. Links to your favorite stories that you have written
3. Your toolbox - what tools do you enjoy using or are learning
4. Who you collaborate with
5. What geographic areas you focus on
6. What topics most interest you
7. Any information about yourself - you can disclose as much or as little as you choose

To create your user page click on your user name which will take you to your user page.

You will then be able to click "Create Page" to start your user page.

Other people's user pages

As noted in the Mediawiki documentation on other people's user pages, there are various related uses and courtesies:

1. To see a user's contributions, when you are on their user page click Tools > Contributions. This will give you an idea of their volume and focus of contribution.
2. It is bad form to create or edit someone else's page
3. Every user page has an associated talk page for leaving messages directed at the user
